Job description

Graphic Designer - Landscape Architect
Location: Lawrence, MA

Overview

A multidisciplinary civil engineering and design firm is seeking a Graphic Designer to support its growing Landscape Architecture practice. This role is ideal for a creative professional with strong visualization skills who can communicate complex project concepts through compelling graphics. The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of landscape, streetscape, and civil engineering projects and play an important role in both client delivery and the firm’s internal design capabilities.

The Role

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality visual materials that illustrate the scope and intent of projects at different stages of development. You’ll work closely with technical staff to support the production of 2D and 3D visual content for client presentations and proposals, while also helping to advance the firm’s graphic and visualization standards.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with staff, clients, and stakeholders to create visual representations of project concepts

  • Support the implementation and refinement of visualization systems and tools

  • Produce 2D photo-simulations, 3D renderings, models, and animations for digital and print formats

  • Research and evaluate graphic design tools and techniques to enhance internal design capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in a professional design or visualization role

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to manage tasks independently with a high level of attention to detail and time management

  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, and other visualization tools (CAD experience is a plus)

  • Portfolio of completed work, including static graphics and animations — ideally with a focus on transportation, civil/site, or landscape architecture projects

Location:

Lawrence, Massachusetts

Salary: Competitive compensation, based on experience
