Job description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. This intermediate-level role builds upon core Production Artist skills while taking on creative design responsibilities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review design briefs and determine project requirements.
  • Create compelling designs, pitch documents, and client-facing mockups.
  • Translate client inspiration and brand guidelines into effective visual solutions.
  • Prepare final print-ready files for a variety of printing and cutting applications.
  • Preflight, package, and troubleshoot artwork files to ensure production quality.
  • Create client review PDFs and perform press checks to maintain quality standards.
  • Provide image retouching, file scaling, and other image manipulation as needed.
  • Collaborate with Art and Production teams to resolve technical and creative challenges.
  • Track project timelines and accurately estimate and communicate design hours.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
  • Experience preparing artwork for production and large-format printing.
  • Strong understanding of vector and raster graphics, file resolution, and print quality.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience with digital drawing tablets is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of production art experience required.
  • Associate Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
  • Experience with environmental graphic design is a plus.
