JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator provides daily operational, logistical, and administrative support across all marketing, communications, advertising, events, and community engagement activities. This role focuses on execution-ensuring projects, campaigns, and events run smoothly by coordinating tasks, gathering content, maintaining schedules, and supporting the Marketing & Revenue Manager and Marketing Specialist.

The ideal candidate is organized, detaildriven, creative, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment. This position is essential for keeping marketing operations efficient, timely, and wellcoordinated.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Marketing Support:

Print, Magazine & Creative Support, Advertising and Vendor Support, Sales Support and General Support

  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns by coordinating logistics, gathering content, and maintaining timelines.
  • Assist with uploading and maintaining website updates provided by the Marketing Specialist under the direction of the Marketing Manager.
  • Track deadlines, deliverables, and vendor communication.
  • Prepare and proofread marketing communications (e.g., emails, newsletters, and printed materials.)
  • Assist with event setup, teardown, and staff communications.
  • Maintain and update marketing databases and customer lists.
  • Assist, attend, support, and promote all external company events.
  • Assemble and update sales packets, flyers, and promotional materials as needed.
  • Assist with daily incoming lead tracking from all sources.
  • Distribute talking points, training and scripts as requested.
  • Conduct basic market research tasks such as gathering competitor information.
  • Commission research, challenges, and weekly data extracts.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed.

  • Draft and schedule posts using approved content, templates, and brand guidelines across all approved media items and content.
  • Monitor, research and provide a timely response to social media comments and messages.
  • Maintain content calendars and due dates.

  • Stay informed on social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.

  • Ability to travel 3-5 days, or as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics).
  • Basic graphic design skills (knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for marketing and social media trends.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing, and PPC advertising is a plus.
