The Graphic Designer position will work closely with the Senior Manager of Creative Services to help drive L3Harris visual communications across multiple platforms, including, but not limited to print and digital media. Take direction to edit and create infographics, PowerPoint presentations, charts and graphs, dynamic ads, logos,provid graphics, collateral, program proposals, executive materials, and web/digital content to be used to promote L3Harris as the Trusted Disruptor in the Aerospace and Defense industry. The position requires a creative problem solver and an effective communicator that has the ability to clearly and confidently tell a story via digital and print design, and takes the initiative to be an avid learner of new technologies. Essential Functions:

  • Develop and design high-quality graphics for digital and print media, including brochures, advertisements, presentations, websites, and social media.
  • Provide support for the creation of visual assets for internal and external communication campaigns such as logos, infographics, and concept graphics.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and engineering teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions and design strategy meetings.
  • Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
  • Review and revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into design work.

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Masters Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field or have completed their Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age. 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and projects, as well as an excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to non-design stakeholders.
