Job description

Freese and Nichols is seeking a Graphic Designer in Austin, Frisco, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, or San Marcos, Texas; Charlotte or Raleigh, North Carolina; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; or Rogers, Arkansas. As Graphic Designer, you will help communicate strategic messages and brand identity through visual media while creating materials that support business development, recruitment, and internal communications. You will also contribute to visual strategy, guide projects from concept through production, and partner with teams across the company to deliver high-quality work aligned with brand standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative concepts, campaigns and visual stories that support marketing, recruiting and communication goals
  • Create high-quality graphics and related materials that align with brand standards, format requirements and project objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical and corporate teams to shape project direction and deliver effective visual solutions
  • Manage multiple projects, schedules, contributors and feedback cycles across moderate to complex assignments
  • Recommend visual approaches that support business development, recruitment and internal communication priorities
  • Coordinate vendors, budgets, photography requests, and production needs for assigned projects
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Graphic Design or a related field
  • 6+ years of professional graphics experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while demonstrating strong communication, collaboration, critical thinking, initiative, and attention to detail

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
  • Experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industry
  • Experience in photography or video production and editing
  • Experience in Adobe Express, Adobe Lightroom or Adobe After Effects
  • Experience in motion graphics or animation
  • Involvement in a professional organization
