Marketing Graphic Design Student Intern (Hourly)

Job Description Summary:

Under supervision and guidance, the Graphic Design Intern will work with the Office of College Relations & Marketing to create visual assets for use across print and digital platforms. The intern will gain hands-on experience designing for real-world marketing campaigns that support ACC's brand, while also having space for creativity and personal growth.
This internship is eligible for course credit through programs such as Visual Communications, Graphic Design, or other related areas. The fall internship begins in August 2026. You must be a current ACC student to apply.

Job Description:

Description of Duties and Tasks

  • Assists in the design and production of a variety of marketing collateral, including print ads, digital ads, posters, flyers, brochures, and digital signage.

  • Provides updates to existing collateral.

  • Assists in the design and creation of web and digital assets in support of campaign landing pages, email marketing, and social media graphics.

  • Ensures visual consistency of the brand across various touch points (advertisement, banners, email campaigns, social media pages, etc.).

Knowledge

  • Principles and practices of graphic design.

  • Established brand standards and style.

  • Print production and file preparation

Skills

  • Follows official brand guidelines, while looking for new innovations.

  • Works independently and within a team while meeting established deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented and possesses excellent follow-up skills.

  • Passion and desire for learning and a proactive energy for getting things done.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is routinely performed in an office environment.

  • Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing and pulling.
