FASTSIGNS Southwest Dallas is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer / Production Designer to create and prepare signage and large-format graphics for print and production.
Projects include banners, vehicle graphics, dimensional signs, wall graphics, window vinyl, and large-format printing. This role combines creative design with production setup and print file preparation in a fast-paced sign shop environment. We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
This is a full time position with a regular schedule and weekends off! Hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. Includes paid training, paid time off, paid holidays, and performance-based bonuses.
Compensation: $19.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience
Qualifications:
  1. 1 to 2 years of graphic design experience
  2. Adobe Illustrator required
  3. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  4. Experience preparing large-format print files preferred
  5. Knowledge of vinyl cutting, bleed, scaling, and print setup a plus
  6. Experience with sign industry software or RIP software preferred

Responsibilities:
  1. Layout and design signs according to written instructions
  2. Complete or modify designs from customer drawings and files
  3. Coordinate with co-workers and customers to expedite the proofing, revision, and artwork approval process
  4. Adhere to guidelines for preparing print-ready files and sending jobs to printers
  5. Prepare and operate vinyl cutting equipment for production
  6. Perform quality assurance measures by accurately reading and interpreting work orders

Compensation: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
