Summary/ObjectiveThe Graphic Designer and Brand Manager leads visual brand execution supporting enrollment marketing, fundraising campaign initiatives, advertising efforts, and institutional communications.
Essential Functions
  • Design and produce creative concepts and collateral for recruitment and fundraising efforts.
  • Uphold brand standards through quality control of visual content
  • Produce still and motion graphics and other digital assets for institutional websites, social media enterprise accounts, digital marketing/advertising campaigns, promotional print materials, email campaigns, and environmental building graphics.
  • Create and maintain creative calendar for production timelines and scheduling using project management tools.
  • Inspect proofs for accuracy and adherence to appropriate production standards.
  • Lead creative needs for recruiting, retention, and constituent engagement events (e.g. apparel designs for Homecoming/Family Weekend and community service days, wayfinding signage)
  • Produce approved templates for campus partners.
  • Support institutional initiatives by providing design support to other departments.
  • Research industry trends and best practices within the fields of marketing and communications and higher education.
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position may supervise student workers or interns.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, the employee must be willing to work a non-traditional 40-hour week and be flexible as needed. Schedules will be adjusted to provide coverage in these cases.
TravelLimited travel may be required.

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
