Job description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design compelling and accessible visual content that supports Albert Einstein College of Medicine
  • Create print and digital products and materials as directed by Director of Creative Services and Project Manager, including but not limited to: brochures, postcards, invitations, reports, digital signage, social media assets, infographics, presentations, proposals, and posters.
  • Execute art direction as provided by Director and Lead Graphic Designers
  • Iterate designs based on feedback from clients and colleagues
  • Ensure materials reflect appropriate brand identity
  • Act as responsible party for assigned jobs, ensuring timely delivery of final product
  • Manage multiple time-sensitive assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and production requirements
  • Professionally and collegially work and communicate with clients and colleagues
  • Prepare final files for both digital and print production
  • Coordinate effectively with print vendors to execute final deliverables
  • Accurately and effectively track time in timekeeping system

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field with at least 2 years experience as a graphic designer with print and digital design experience;
  • Appropriate combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • Strong knowledge of graphic design fundamentals and awareness of current trends in graphic design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to work on Mac platform
  • Familiarity with Canva and Dropbox
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Highly collaborative and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment

This is a part-time position requiring 15 hours per week, typically worked in 7.5-hour shifts. Candidates must be available to meet this scheduling requirement.
