Job description

Digital Graphic Designer
Department: Creative
Direct Supervisor: Creative Director
Status: Full-time
Summary:
The Digital Graphic Designer will work closely with the Creative Director and Art Director to build and refine digital experiences across our owned digital channels [websites and apps], our e-mail marketing strategy, and a variety of marketing campaigns for paid digital media and paid social media, working across the Miami Dolphins, F1 Miami GP, Hard Rock Stadium, and Miami Open brands. A qualified candidate will be responsible for conceptualization and design of creative deliverables such web and app interfaces, and to develop e-mail marketing, paid digital media and paid social posts, from concept to completion.
This position is responsible for concepting and executing high-quality creative across a range of digital touchpoints - from initial idea through final delivery. The ideal candidate brings a strong design sensibility, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to balance brand consistency with fresh, innovative thinking across a diverse portfolio of globally recognized brands.
Location:
  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with the design team on brainstorming, developing, and executing design work for the organization. This role will focus on digital-first marketing assets including:
    • Paid media ads (display, social, and performance channels)
    • Email campaigns and lifecycle marketing assets
    • Mobile app design, banners and in-app promotions
    • Landing pages and conversion-focused web experiences
    • SMS/text campaign creative and supporting visuals
  • Effectively coordinate with the Creative Director and Project Managers to ensure design projects communicate the desired message quickly and efficiently.
  • Take responsibility of the creative process for each project you are assigned, including inter-departmental communication, problem solving and the understanding of business initiatives.
  • Provide creative input, ideas and concepts for the overall marketing and brand development of the organization.
  • Build, design, and optimize emails and landing pages within HubSpot (or similar marketing automation platforms), ensuring brand consistency, usability, and performance best practices.
  • Stay current on design trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to paid media, social media guidelines and lifecycle marketing.
  • Embrace and demonstrate the collaborative efforts of the creative department
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships team to develop designs that could embrace our partners logos and main messages to the fans.
  • Identify fresh and emerging internal and external opportunities to promote the Miami Dolphins, F1 Miami GP, Miami Open and Hard Rock Stadium brands.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Graphic Design, within an agency or in a corporate environment with a strong digital focus.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Graphic Design or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of current design practices and techniques, specific to web, email, and advertising platform requirements and constraints, including accessibility standards.
  • Fluency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Proficiency in Lightroom, Outlook and Microsoft Office on OS platform
  • Experience using HubSpot to design and build emails and landing pages is highly preferred.
  • Relevant experience in sports, entertainment and/or lifestyle brands is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Consistently display initiative to complete projects and tasks with limited supervision
  • Able to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Always maintain a professional attitude and be receptive to project changes
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
