Position: Graphic Designer
Location: Indianapolis, IN (on-site)
The Marketing + Communications team develops and executes strategic marketing initiatives that promote all of American Structurepoint's services. As a collaborative team supporting an organization of more than 750 employees, our designers contribute across a wide range of creative needs-from print and web to digital and interactive content.
We are seeking a Graphic Designer with strong visual, digital, and web design skills to concept and execute proposals, marketing collateral, advertisements, website elements, and sales materials that consistently reflect and elevate our brand. This role balances creative thinking with thoughtful execution and requires comfort working across multiple platforms while managing competing priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Design engaging layouts that integrate text, iconography, photography, interactive elements, and graphics across print and digital platforms
  • Collaborate with writers, proposal coordinators, and marketing team members to translate content into compelling visual solutions for both print and web
  • Design and update website elements, landing pages, and digital assets while ensuring a consistent brand experience
  • Work with web development partners to create wireframes and mockups with a focus on usability, responsiveness, and UI/UX best practices
  • Apply current and emerging design trends while adhering to foundational design principles
  • Present and clearly articulate design concepts
  • Incorporate feedback from internal clients and marketing leadership into polished final deliverables
  • Review all work for accuracy, quality, and consistency prior to printing, publishing, or digital launch
  • Assist in planning and directing photography to support both print and digital marketing initiatives
  • Support motion graphics or animated content for digital platforms when appropriate, in collaboration with the broader team
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Web Design, Animation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in a design firm or collaborative creative team environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong emphasis on InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Experience with or exposure to modern web and UI design tools (such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch), with interest in helping expand digital design workflows
  • Understanding of printing and production processes, as well as digital publishing and web workflows
  • Experience working within brand standards while evolving and elevating visual identity

Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio showcasing both print and digital/web design work is required. Candidates must submit either a PDF portfolio or a link to an online portfolio for consideration.
