Location: Columbia, SC

Work Location: Remote - Onsite during projects or at regular monthly/ quarterly intervals.
Project Scope:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong technical writing, documentation, and process analysis expertise. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, technical teams, business stakeholders, and compliance teams to support enterprise initiatives, process improvements, and regulatory compliance efforts.
This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to create detailed technical documentation and process workflows, and experience managing multiple reporting and project tracking activities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Track project milestones and provide recommendations or adjustments to project managers as needed
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, SOPs, process flows, and reporting materials
• Create clear and effective workflow diagrams, business process maps, and presentations using Visio and PowerPoint
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify, document, and support business processes and operational improvements
• Support regulatory compliance initiatives and documentation efforts
• Coordinate and manage multiple reporting requirements simultaneously
• Participate in project planning, schedule tracking, and status reporting activities
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure project deliverables are completed on time
• Ensure documentation standards and organizational procedures are properly followed
• Assist with communication between technical teams, business units, and leadership
• Support project managers with scheduling, planning, and reporting activities
• Maintain organized documentation repositories and ensure records remain up to date
Required Skills & Experience:
• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role
• Excellent technical writing and documentation experience
• Strong experience creating process flows, diagrams, and workflow documentation
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to identify, map, document, and improve business processes
• Experience tracking project milestones and supporting project management activities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and reporting requirements in a high-volume environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills:
• 5+ years of technical writing experience
• Experience creating technical SOP documentation
• Strong Visio graphic creation and workflow documentation experience
• Experience supporting regulatory compliance projects
• Strong schedule management and planning skills
• Experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
