The Account Manager is a sales-focused relationship manager responsible for retaining, growing, and expanding existing client accounts. Managing a portfolio of regional and national customers, this role drives account growth, customer retention, and long-term partnership success through strategic relationship management and proactive business development.

What You'll Do

Account Growth & Revenue Development

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of regional and national client accounts, building strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Drive revenue, profitability, and retention through upselling, cross-selling, referrals, and account expansion opportunities.
  • Own account performance and growth goals while identifying new business opportunities.

Strategic Client Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned clients.
  • Build a deep understanding of client needs and objectives, while conducting business reviews and strategic planning discussions.
  • Deliver proactive recommendations that drive account growth and strengthen long-term
    partnerships through trust, responsiveness, and results.

Project Execution & Client Success

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
  • Manage client communication, timelines, and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively resolve issues and ensure programs are delivered accurately and aligned with client expectations.

Market & Account Development

  • Monitor client industries, market trends, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Represent Advertising Vehicles at industry events, customer meetings, and networking opportunities.
  • Position the company as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to clients.

CRM & Accountability

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans, pipelines, and revenue forecasts.
  • Track account growth, retention, and renewal opportunities while using CRM data to prioritize activities and drive results.
  • Participate in sales meetings, account reviews, and performance discussions.
Requirements:

What It Takes to Win

  • 3โ€“5+ years of successful account management, business development, or consultative B2B sales experience.
  • Proven ability to grow client relationships, increase revenue, and identify strategic growth opportunities.
  • Verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts with attention to detail, business acumen, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and disciplined account management practices.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25โ€“50% based on business needs.

Preferred

  • Experience in fleet graphics, vehicle advertising, fleet management, marketing services, signage, print, or related industries.
  • Experience managing regional or national accounts.
  • HubSpot or Salesforce experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
