Position Summary



We are seeking a skilled and dependable Stone Installer to join our team in Rohnert Park, California. The Stone Installer is responsible for the installation of natural stone, quartz, porcelain slabs, and engineered stone products for residential and commercial projects. This position requires precision craftsmanship, strong attention to detail, and the ability to safely handle and install heavy materials while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Install granite, marble, quartz, quartzite, porcelain slabs, and other stone materials.
  • Perform countertop, backsplash, fireplace, wall cladding, shower, and custom stone installations.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, field measurements, and installation specifications.
  • Load, transport, unload, and safely handle stone materials and installation equipment.
  • Verify jobsite conditions prior to installation and communicate any discrepancies.
  • Set, level, seam, secure, and finish stone products to company quality standards.
  • Cut, shape, polish, and modify stone materials as needed in the field.
  • Apply adhesives, epoxies, silicone, and other installation materials correctly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Complete punch-list items and minor repairs as required.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, designers, and project managers.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety requirements at all times.




Qualifications



  • Minimum 2 years of stone installation experience preferred.
  • Experience installing natural stone, quartz, porcelain slabs, and solid surface materials.
  • Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and field measurements.
  • Knowledge of proper seam placement, leveling systems, and installation techniques.
  • Experience using hand tools, grinders, polishing equipment, suction lifters, and power tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot field conditions and resolve installation issues independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
  • Valid California Drivers License with a clean driving record preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.




Physical Requirements



  • Ability to regularly lift and carry 75100+ pounds with assistance and lifting equipment.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various jobsite conditions.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate installation equipment and company vehicles.




Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with luxury residential installations.
  • Forklift certification.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience with large-format porcelain panels and book-matched stone installations.
  • CDL or experience towing trailers is a plus.
