A Granite Cutter is a skilled tradesperson who cuts, shapes, and finishes granite slabs for use in construction, countertops, monuments, and other applications. They use specialized tools such as saws, grinders, and polishing machines to achieve precise cuts and smooth finishes. Granite Cutters often interpret blueprints or templates to ensure accurate dimensions. The job requires physical strength, attention to detail, and knowledge of stone-cutting techniques. Safety precautions are essential due to the use of heavy machinery and potentially hazardous dust.

What does a granite cutter do?

A typical day for a Granite Cutter involves reading design specifications, measuring and marking granite slabs, operating various stone-cutting machines, and ensuring pieces are cut with precision to meet project requirements.
