About the RoleThe Auto Center District Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Auto Center Managers and Team Members across assigned locations. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving EBITDA performance, and achieving sustainable business growth through standardized routines, process efficiencies, and leadership development.
Additionally, the Auto Center District Manager identifies opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and profitability by implementing effective solutions and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver targeted business results.
What You'll Do- Lead and oversee daily operations across multiple Auto Center locations, driving the achievement of sales, profitability, and performance objectives.
- Monitor and analyze key financial and operational metrics, including sales, attachment rates, labor performance, and expenses, while implementing corrective action plans through coaching, accountability, and process improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Human Resources to recruit, hire, train, and develop high-performing Auto Center Managers and Team Members, building organizational bench strength and supporting employee engagement and retention across the district.
- Promote a customer-first culture by reinforcing exceptional service standards, operational consistency, and workplace safety practices.
- Conduct regular site visits to evaluate operational performance, facility appearance, brand standards compliance, and overall team engagement.
- Ensure consistent adherence to company policies, operational procedures, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional corporate partners to execute strategic initiatives, drive operational improvements, and share best practices across locations.
- Maintain flexibility to support business operations, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of Auto Center management experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive services, including tire mounting and balancing, wheel alignments, brake systems, oil changes, and battery installation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
- Comfortable facilitating meetings, conducting training sessions, and presenting information to diverse audiences.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
