Job Summary:
VT Group (VTG) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with various teams to streamline release processes.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable application deployments
• Build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline release processes
• Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Troubleshoot system issues across environments and implement solutions to prevent recurrence
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and organizational policies
• Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of cloud environments
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
