Job description

Overview

Performs physical therapy procedures and other related tasks under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) and assists the RPT in patient activities. Supervises technicians, volunteers and students as assigned.

Qualifications

Education Required

  • HS Diploma/GED Required
  • Graduate of APTA accredited educational program for Physical Therapists Assistants required.

License, Certification and/or Registration

         Must have current Alabama license.

         Must receive BCLS certification within orientation period.

         Prefer member of APTA.
