Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking an FAU Graduate Assistant, Interprofessional Education and Practice - Boca Raton, FL.
The Graduate Assistant for the Office of Interprofessional Education & Practice will primarily be responsible for programming data collection and assessment for quantitative and qualitative reporting and assisting with grant writing. This position will also be responsible for creating communication content for the OIPE&P website and newsletter.
Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Assist with all administrative functions of the OIPE&P, including maintenance of a database, planning logistics of workshops, data collection for program assessment and reporting, instructional presentations to students, faculty, staff and community partners.
  • Provide research-based recommendations for the development and implementation of IPE&P assessment tools.
  • Maintain, analyze and update assessment records for reporting purposes.
  • Assist with updating office website dashboards and partnership GIS mapping.
  • Conduct presentations to students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Data collection, analysis & assessment

  • Other duties as assigned.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Develop an understanding of strategic planning and policy creation as it relates to University, Divisional, and Departmental learning outcome and goals.
  • Develop assessment tools and reporting strategies to highlight FAU's commitment to the community.
  • Gain effective skills for presenting, training, and assessment of strategies, policies and programs.

Evaluation/Assessment:
  • The GA will be evaluated on a regular basis, with weekly one-on-one meetings. The student will also be required to write reports regularly.

Minimum Qualifications:
FAU degree-seeking graduate student with a minimum of five credit hours (or nine if international) and a minimum 3.0 GPA required.
Experience with data collection and analysis.
Salary:
$18.00 hourly for master's level.
$25.00 hourly for doctoral level.
