Summary

Performs blood and other specimen collection as per procedure; performs clerical/computer functions and specimen processing tasks.  Performs waived and moderately complex tests as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. High school graduate or equivalent. 
  2. Completion of one of the following:
    1. Approved phlebotomy or laboratory assistant program
    2. Six months of experience in specimen collection, testing techniques, or a similar field.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Phlebotomy or Laboratory Assistant registry.
  2. Completion of a phlebotomy, laboratory processing, or equivalent program.
