Description
The Junior Software Engineer supports business operations by developing, maintaining, and automating software solutions. This role leverages programming skills and AI technologies to streamline business processes, enhance data-driven decision-making, and create custom automations. Under general supervision, the engineer works from basic system designs and specifications, collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Essential Functions:
  • Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software solutions and business automations using programming and AI tools.
  • Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to gather requirements and document solutions.
  • Prepare charts, diagrams, and documentation to support problem analysis and solution recommendations.

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree program.
  • Familiar with AI tools, automation frameworks, and modern programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript)
  • Good working knowledge of personal computers and operating systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
