Job Description
Nova Driving School is seeking passionate, professional, and safety-focused Driving Instructors to join our growing team. This instructor position will primarily serve students in Glenview, Illinois, and the surrounding North Shore and northern suburban communities, providing exceptional driver education and behind-the-wheel training to teens and adults of all experience levels.
As part of the city's #1 driving school, you will play a key role in helping students build the confidence, knowledge, and defensive driving skills needed to become safe, responsible drivers. Instructors will work closely with learners from diverse backgrounds, adapting lessons to individual learning styles while creating a supportive, engaging, and encouraging environment that promotes success both on the road and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students safe and lawful driving techniques, including Illinois traffic laws and defensive driving strategies.
  • Adapt your teaching style to meet diverse learning needs and comfort levels.
  • Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback after each lesson.
  • Stay up-to-date on current traffic regulations and best practices in driver education.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and focused learning environment that builds student confidence.

Requirements
  • Driver's license of at least 2 years - Current and Valid driver's license should have been issued in the State of Illinois
  • No at fault accident in the last 7 years
  • Previous experience in driving instruction is preferred but not required
  • Above 21 years of age
  • High school graduate or equivalent- Must be able to present ORIGINAL diploma or transcripts
