Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supervisor of Engineering.

In this role, the successful candidate Position has supervisory responsibility over daily operations, projects and maintenance staff. The Supervisor will have the responsibility for the proper operation of all hospital plant equipment, and in the absence of senior management will assume responsibility for departmental operations. Duties include the monitoring of office computerized systems, teaching and training different trades, the inspection and upkeep of all rooms and HVAC, boilers, A/C units, and alarms.

Job Responsibilities:

* Supervise daily operations and maintenance staff * Perform other related duties as required * Capable to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics * Inspection and upkeep of all mechanical rooms * Monitor and keeps records of statement of conditions * Supervise construction and painting projects * Teaching and training different trades * Monitor, service and repair emergency generators and Co-Gen * Monitor, service and repair high and low pressure boilers * Monitor and service fire alarm systems, and medical gases * Monitor office computerized systems, HVAC, boilers, A/C units, alarms etc. * Distribution of work orders and check for completion

Minimum Qualifications:

  • To qualify you must have a High School Diploma
  • 5+ years. Must have substantial experience on boilers, air condition and maintenance field.
  • Q01 COQ Refrigeration Engineer required upon hire
  • G71 Supervision of Piped Non-flammable Medical Gases
  • S12 Citywide Sprinkler Systems
  • S13 Citywide Stand Pipe Systems
  • S95 Supervision of Fire Alarms Systems and other Related Systems
  • A35 To Operate and Maintain Air Compressors
  • F01 Citywide Fire Guard for Impairment.

Required Licenses: COQ Refrigeration - Cert

Preferred Qualifications:
Trade School graduate
Hospital Experience
