Graduate Engineer (EIT)- Transportation/RoadwayThe Opportunity
Launch your engineering career with Aguirre amp; Fields as an Engineer in Training. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced professional engineers on meaningful infrastructure projects that help communities grow and flourish. You’ll build practical technical skills, gain exposure to professional engineering standards, and develop the experience needed for future professional licensure. Our preferred location for this role is in our Austin, TX office, but open to Sugar Land or Fort Worth.
The Ideal Candidate
You’re an early-career civil engineer who is curious, dependable, and eager to learn. You bring strong communication skills, a commitment to ethical practice, and the grit and character to grow through hands-on project experience. You enjoy collaborating with others, taking ownership of your work, and contributing to a team that values integrity, innovation, transparency, and excellence.
Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET/EAC accredited program, successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, relevant technology or software experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
