Safety & Ergonomic Analyst
Waterloo, IA | Onsite | $29.00/Hour
We are seeking a Safety & Ergonomic Analyst to support safety, ergonomics, and risk reduction initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to begin a career in safety, ergonomics, industrial engineering, or environmental health and safety.
Work Authorization Requirement:
Only U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders will be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
Position Details
  • Location: Waterloo, IA
  • Schedule: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
  • Fully onsite position
  • Business casual work environment
  • Metatarsal safety footwear required
  • Prescription safety glasses required if applicable
  • Interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams
  • Potential for extension based on business needs
Pay
  • $29.00 per hour
Responsibilities
  • Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify workplace hazards and improvement opportunities
  • Compile and analyze safety-related data, reports, and documentation
  • Support incident investigations and corrective action efforts
  • Assist with ergonomic evaluations of equipment, workstations, tools, packaging, and manufacturing processes
  • Conduct ergonomic risk assessments on new or relocated equipment
  • Document findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
  • Support compliance with safety regulations and internal safety standards
  • Assist with safety and ergonomics training for employees and supervisors
  • Communicate safety and ergonomic findings to manufacturing teams and leadership
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on employee safety and efficiency
Required Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
