Job description

Total Compensation range: $85k-$115k

A growing multidisciplinary physician group is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join its outpatient rehabilitation team in Bergen County.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys building meaningful patient relationships, working alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, and helping individuals regain function and return to the activities that matter most. You'll have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population while continuing to grow your clinical skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's goals and functional needs.
  • Deliver one-on-one outpatient physical therapy services using evidence-based treatment techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and rehabilitation professionals to coordinate high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as appropriate, and help patients achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and recovery strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Help patients safely return to work, athletics, daily activities, and recreational pursuits.
  • Contribute to a positive clinic culture built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives as needed.
  • Remain current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current New Jersey Physical Therapy license.
  • Previous outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and patient-centered communication skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
