Role Overview Field leadership role responsible for executing site development projects , including earthwork, utilities, and infrastructure. Accountable for production, safety, coordination, and schedule execution across multiple crews and scopes.
Key Responsibilities Field Leadership & Production Lead daily operations across: Mass grading Excavation Utilities Roadway construction Manage crews, operators, and equipment Drive sequencing to avoid delays Ensure efficient use of resources Planning & Coordination Develop: Daily work plans 2-week and 6-week lookaheads Coordinate Client, equipment, and materials Remove constraints impacting productivity Utilities & Technical Execution Oversee installation of: Water, sewer, storm drain Electrical and communication systems Ensure accuracy in: Trenching Bedding Compaction Testing Coordinate layouts, elevations, slopes Quality Control Verify: Grades, elevations, compaction Ensure inspection readiness Coordinate with inspectors and agencies Minimize rework Safety Leadership Enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance Conduct: JHAs Daily safety meetings Identify and mitigate hazards Crew & Subcontractor Management Manage crews and subcontractors Maintain accountability and expectations Ensure communication between field and PM team Reporting & Closeout Maintain daily production reports Track quantities and productivity Support: Punch list Inspections As-builts
