Mining Motor Grader Project Manager
ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the SANY America team, SANY America is seeking an experienced 550 Mining Motor Grader Project Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of next-generation motor grader initiatives designed specifically for mining and heavy-duty applications in the North American market. This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end project execution, from initial concept and product definition through engineering development, validation, and successful market launch.
The Mining Motor Grader Project Manager will serve as a key cross-functional leader, partnering closely with global engineering teams, product management, manufacturing, supply chain, and service operations to ensure the delivery of high-performance, reliable, and cost-competitive equipment. This individual will play a critical role in aligning product strategy with market demands, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations across mining environments.
With current revenues over $500 million, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase their market share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the development of a 550-horsepower mining motor grader, responsible for the entire process from product definition, project initiation, design, prototyping, testing, to mass delivery.
  • Conduct customer requirement research for mining motor graders, analyze market trends, study laws and regulations, and perform competitor analysis.
  • Provide technical support for production assembly, marketing, and after-sales service of mining motor graders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Design, Automation, or related fields, with over 5 years of experience in motor grader product design.
  • Must have led or participated as a key member in at least one mining motor grader development project with 400 horsepower or above.
  • Familiar with construction processes, design standards, and mining safety regulations related to mining motor graders.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and innovative thinking.
