Unarmed Security Officer
Role Summary

The Unarmed Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors by enforcing security policies and procedures. Responsibilities include conducting patrols, monitoring surveillance and access control systems, responding to alarms and emergencies, documenting incidents, and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary. Officers must exercise sound judgment, remain alert and professional under pressure, and contact law enforcement when an armed response is required. This position is designated a Safety Sensitive Function. Candidates must possess a Connecticut Security Officer Training Certification ID Card and comply with all Company and client training requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must possess a Connecticut Security Officer Training Certification ID Card.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Customer service experience and professional demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license and approved MVR if driving is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct foot and vehicle patrols to identify and report security or safety concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify employee, visitor, and contractor credentials.

  • Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
