POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a proficient Welder to contribute to our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding metal components with precision, ensuring that the final product meets our quality and safety standards. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent welding skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Hours: M-Th, 1:30 P.M. - 11:30 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform various welding tasks to join metal parts and components accurately.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure the proper alignment and welding of components.
  •  Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and measuring as necessary to ensure the highest quality welds.
  • Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, making necessary adjustments and repairs as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly.
  • Work closely with other team members, such as fabricators and supervisors, to ensure efficient production and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of recent MIG welding preferred 
  • Experience welding around pipe
  • Welding experience with galvanized material
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Post-secondary certificate, vocational training preferred
  • Successfully pass internal AWS weld test
  • High school diploma/GED preferred

The target hourly range is $22.00 - $25.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; paid time off and paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock ownership plan.

Employment is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a background screening, conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
