Job Description:

As a Specialist,Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining a customizable multi-staged DevSecOps software pipeline for multiple programs. This pipeline must be able to upscale and easily replicated for other development environments. Software must also run thought nightly tests, report failure of any stage, and package the software for release.

The Agile Development Group (ADG) division specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Design infrastructure and automated systems to support distributed architecture and develop tools to manage configuration and deployment of large program platforms.
  • Design, document, develop functional and unit test software for systems in accordance with the Software Development Process and coding standards and guidelines.
  • Investigate root cause of complex issues, and implement solutions, working independently or with a multi-discipline team.
  • Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system
  • Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, hardware-software integration, and formal test
  • Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, prototype, and evaluate results
  • Participate in peer reviews, identify, track and repair defects

Qualifications:

U.S. citizen with an active Department of War Security Clearance

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Minimum of 5 years experience in computer/software engineering field

Minimum of 5 years C++, C# development in a professional environment

Preferred Additional Skills:

Gitlab pipeline experience

Experience with Modern C++, C#, Python,andbash

Experience withAgile Scrum/Kanban developmentprocesses and procedures

Familiar withcontainerizeddevelopmentand tools likeKubernetes, Docker,and Helmin a Linuxenvironment

Knowledge ofDevSecOpsstandardsandCI/CD Pipelines with Gitlab focus.

Experience withvcpkg,,LaTex, SonarQube, andDoxygen is a plus
