Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates with the KO and COR in making decisions impacting the overall contract to include management, staffing, and operational approach.

  • Responsible for TekSynap’s overall operational approach, delegation of responsibilities, and ensuring the terms of the PWS are fully executed.

  • In support of a Force Protection situation, keep the COR apprised of all personnel whereabouts, to include those in a TDY location.

  • Leads, coordinates, communicates, integrates and is accountable for the overall success of the program, ensuring alignment with critical agency priorities.

  • Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project typically consisting of a set of closely related subprograms or associated activities.

  • Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program.

  • Seeks and develops outside funding sources.

  • Serves as principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies on operational matters.

  • Provides day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership as appropriate to the area of expertise.

  • Manages large projects or processes and problems faced are difficult and often complex; analyzes problems/issues of diverse scope and determines solutions.

  • May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active DoD Top-Secret clearance
  • Minimum of 12+ years of related IT experience
  • Certifications: One or more of the following:
    • CISSP
    • CASP+
    • CCSP
    • CEH
    • CISA
    • CISM
    • CySA+
    • GCED
    • GSEC
    • Security+
    • (Other security certifications may be applicable)
  • Certifications: One or more of the following:

    • Active Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL 4) Foundation

    • Practice Manager

    • Managing Professional

    • Strategic Leader

    • Master Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Advanced management expertise with experience leading enterprise technical teams.

  • Advanced knowledge of program and project management concepts, processes, and techniques consistent with the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and industry best practice.

  • Advanced expertise in decomposing project requirements to generate a work breakdown structure.

  • Advanced expertise in risk management analysis and procedures.

  • Advanced communication expertise with experience delivering written and oral presentations to military and Government personnel.

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Teams, Project, and PowerPoint.

  • Recognized IT subject matter expert able to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding, and with limited oversight from managers.
