Adjunct Faculty - American Government / Political ScienceJOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYJoin Florida Polytechnic University - Florida's all-STEM public university and the #1 public college in the South - as a part-time adjunct instructor in American Government / Political Science. In this role, you will engage high-achieving undergraduate math, science, and engineering majors in face-to-face classes, such as POS 2041: United States Government. This class, which fulfills a state Civic Literacy requirement, is an introduction to U.S. government and politics, including their constitutions, political institutions and processes, and political actors.JOB DESCRIPTION

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Face-to-face course development and delivery skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Teaching and industry experience preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution with at least 18 credit hours in the discipline.

COMPENSATION:Starting salary will be commensurate with years of teaching or professional experience.
