As the Director, Government Affairs, you will help shape the public policy landscape by representing Rocket before lawmakers, regulators, policymakers, trade associations, industry groups, and other key stakeholders. Organize and support meetings, briefings, site visits, events, and other engagements with elected officials, regulators, agency staff, congressional staff, trade associations, and industry partners. Represent Rocket at external meetings, policy forums, industry events, trade association discussions, and stakeholder engagements as appropriate. Mentor and support team members by sharing expertise, strengthening policy understanding, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing government affairs function.

Extensive knowledge of federal government institutions, agencies, legislative processes, regulatory processes, and policymaking functions. Advanced written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor communications to executive, policymaker, technical, and business audiences. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with policymakers, regulators, staff, trade associations, industry stakeholders, and internal business partners. Ability to quickly learn new issues, assess policy and business implications, and build credibility in new environments.
