Time Entry Specialist
St. Louis, MO
Job Description
The Time Entry Specialist accurately records and reconciles hourly employee work hours and contractor timesheets while providing administrative support to the office. This role focuses heavily on daily data entry and timecard management for a large group of employees, ensuring that hours are correctly assigned to projects and that documentation is complete and accurate.
Responsibilities
  • Perform daily batch time entry for approximately 40-60 hourly employees, ensuring all hours are accurately recorded.
  • Assign employee hours to the correct projects based on current work assignments.
  • Serve as backup to the Office Manager by supporting various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Help plan, coordinate, and organize office events and activities.
  • Reconcile contractors' timesheets with invoices from staffing agencies to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Follow up with employees regarding missing timecards or timecards that appear incomplete or incorrect.
  • Maintain organized records of time entry and timesheet documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors in timekeeping records.
  • Communicate clearly with employees and internal stakeholders to resolve timecard discrepancies.
  • Support a positive and collaborative office culture through reliable and consistent administrative support.

Pay and Benefits
