Job description

Loyola Medicine at Gottlieb Hospital invites applications for a full-time gastroenterology hospitalist. Gottlieb Hospital is a community-based hospital located in Melrose Park, IL with two anesthesia equipped GI suites.

  • The ideal candidate will work in a 7-day on/7-day off hospitalist model
  • Advanced practice providers assist/perform inpatient rounding in the 150-bed hospital
  • A GI Olympus upgrade project is currently underway
  • Enjoy working within a large Midwest academic medical center in a fast-growing community. Interventional (EUS/ERCP) skills are not required
  • The candidate should be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology and possess an Illinois license at the time of appointment
  • The successful candidate will be at the rank of Assistant Professor
  • This opportunity offers an excellent work life balance, covering one hospital and no outpatient clinic
