Gotcha Security

Villa Rica, GA

Job description

Who We Are

Gotcha Security is a commercial low voltage security company based in Villa Rica, GA. We design and install CCTV, intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and gate entry systems. Our primary market is multifamily communities across Metro Atlanta — apartment communities, HOAs, and mixed-use properties. We don't do door-to-door. We build real relationships with the people who manage these properties, and we earn their business by being the most consistent, professional presence in the market.

The Role

This is a field-first position. You will be the face of Gotcha Security — visiting apartment communities, building relationships with property managers, and creating the conditions for our sales team to have meaningful conversations. You are not selling. You are connecting.

We've had people in this role before. What separated the ones who succeeded from the ones who didn't wasn't hustle or appearance — it was the ability to walk into a leasing office, read the room, and leave that property manager genuinely glad you stopped by. That's the job.

You'll work the Metro Atlanta market five days a week, spending the majority of your time on-site at properties. The role is 35–40 hours per week. Leasing offices run 9–5 or 9–6, and we're flexible — some of your time will naturally be spent at home or in our Villa Rica office updating notes, uploading photos, and planning your route. Weekly office time in Villa Rica is required.

What You'll Do

Primary — Field Relationship Work

  • Visit apartment communities across Metro Atlanta on a structured, recurring route
  • Build and maintain relationships with on-site property managers and leasing staff
  • Deliver branded promotional items and leave-behinds (notepads, cups, branded materials, etc.)
  • Have genuine, unscripted conversations — learn what's happening at each property, document needs or concerns, and flag anything relevant
  • Follow up with properties that have recently changed ownership or management; make them aware of existing systems Gotcha supports on-site
  • Conduct post-project follow-ups with recently completed clients
  • Log all visit activity, notes, and contacts accurately in HubSpot

Secondary

  • Organize and support lunch-and-learn events at properties
  • Assist with trade show coordination and attendance
  • Capture photos and short-form content for social media during visits
  • Maintain marketing inventory; restock and prepare materials as needed
  • Support outreach via phone, email, handwritten notes, and postcards

RequirementsWhat We're Looking For

The non-negotiable: You are naturally comfortable talking to people you've never met. Not trained-comfortable. Not trying-hard-comfortable. Naturally comfortable. You can walk into a busy leasing office, introduce yourself, and have a real conversation without it feeling like a sales call — because it isn't one.

Beyond that:

  • Professional appearance and demeanor — you're representing us on private properties every day
  • Clean driving record required — you will be driving a branded company vehicle daily
  • Self-directed — you'll be in the field without a manager watching. You need to be the kind of person who runs their route whether anyone checks or not.
  • Strong written and verbal communication — your visit notes need to be clear and useful
  • Comfortable with HubSpot (CRM and lead tracking) and Asana (project and task management) — prior experience with both is a plus
  • Flexible scheduling, including occasional evening events with reasonable advance notice

Not required, but worth mentioning: Prior experience in property management, multifamily, or B2B field roles translates well here.

BenefitsWhat You Get
  • $25/hour
  • Performance bonus opportunity
  • Company vehicle for all field visits
  • Company-issued laptop
  • Company credit card for approved expenses
  • Flexible schedule built around field activity
  • A defined role with clear expectations — no ambiguity about what success looks like

Company Description

In our 5th year of business, we have doubled our sales each year by aggressive marketing and taking care of our clients. Our service technicians and installers are all full-time employees of Gotcha Security, and we have never laid anyone off due to a lack of work.
We value our team members and understand they are a key factor in our success. If you want to join a growing company, that still has that family feel, and meet the qualifications, we would love to hear from you.
