Job description

Adventist Health Columbia Gorge has an outstanding opportunity for an Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician. Boasting a balanced work week and minimal call (telephone only) allows for a healthy work/life balance. Internal Medicine is a designated NHSC (National Health Service Corps) service site allowing for loan repayment options, as well as a Rural Health site offering Oregon income tax credit. Our team welcomes new graduates and experienced doctors alike, to work with a cohesive group of APP's, physicians, nurses and medical assistants who are very passionate about evidence based whole person care. We are a designated 5 STAR Primary Care Medical Home with integrated Behavioral Health, on-site diabetes education and EPIC EMR.

Located 85 miles east of Portland in the majestic Columbia River Gorge, The Dalles features rushing waterfalls, year-round access to outdoor recreation, including downhill and cross-country skiing, world-class water sports, and miles of hiking and biking trails. The area boasts world class wineries, wonderful views, affordable housing, and a supportive medical staff that look forward to working with you.

Education:

  • Graduate of four-year U.S. allopathic or osteopathic medical school or equivalent

Licensure/Certification:

  • Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of practice
  • BLS
