Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 8 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C , Python).
  • Experience in technical leadership, including leading business transformation initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience navigating business organizations, managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and reaching optimal solutions across all associated parties.
  • Experience in flights domain, or an enthusiasm and willingness to quickly learn the domain.
  • Experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and HTTP.
  • Experience as a manager.
  • Ability to deliver messages to the audience and present technical materials to groups of any background.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers, setting priorities, assigning work, and managing multiple projects to build deep travel industry domain expertise.
  • Design, code, and deploy technical solutions as an active player/coach, maintaining QPX Connect and flights software integration code.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Operations to define requirements and drive key initiatives.
  • Scale processes and tools, optimizing training and workflows to improve overall efficiency and support for enterprise airline customers.
  • Resolve complex technical challenges, serving as a key escalation point and directing implementation reviews to ensure partner success.
