Job description

Location: Santa Ana, CA (In-Office, 5 Days/Week)
Type: Full-Time
Salary: $90,000–$120,000

About Us

eJam is a bootstrapped consumer products company that has built, scaled, and exited multiple brands — all without ever taking a dollar of outside capital. Our portfolio includes category leaders ranked at the top of Amazon, carried in major retailers nationwide, and sold across DTC, marketplaces, and every channel in between.

We're not a startup hoping something works. We're a team that has done it repeatedly — taken products from zero to eight figures, landed them on retail shelves nationwide, and built real brands that consumers love. We operate like a holding company with the speed of a startup: small team, no bureaucracy, massive ownership.

This is the place where you'll see the entire machine — sourcing, product development, packaging, manufacturing, compliance, marketing, marketplace strategy, retail — all under one roof. If you want to learn how consumer products actually get built and shipped at scale, there is no faster education than this.

About the Role

This is not just a coding job. It is for someone who wants to understand why things work, not just how to build them.

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Web Developer to own the conversion surface of a multi-brand consumer products portfolio. You will build the landing pages, funnels, and checkout flows that our media spend runs into — and you will own whether we can trust the numbers that come back out. You will work in our Santa Ana office, five days a week, sitting alongside the media buyers and CRO team whose ideas you turn into deployed pages.

What You'll Own

  • Landing page & funnel development. Conversion-focused pages from Figma, custom checkout flows and multi-step funnels in Checkout Champ, Webflow builds, and rapid A/B test variants in a high-velocity testing environment.
  • Tracking & analytics integrity. Meta Pixel and CAPI, TikTok Pixel, GA4, Google Tag Manager. Every funnel tracks correctly at every step, and every test is measurable. This is yours to own, end to end.
  • Shopify storefront customization. Theme modifications, custom Liquid sections, product page and checkout enhancements, and app integrations across three brands.
  • CRO partnership. Reviewing funnel and campaign performance with the marketing team, contributing test ideas, and saying "I think we should try X" based on what you are seeing in the data.
  • AI-assisted development. Using Claude Code, Cursor, v0, or similar to prototype and ship faster — with the judgment to know what to review and what to rewrite.

Requirements

You're a Fit If

  • 4–6 years building conversion-focused web experiences — landing pages, funnels, or eCommerce storefronts — with a portfolio of pages you personally built.
  • Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals, with mobile-first responsive development as a default habit.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and debugging tracking: GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel (ideally with Conversions API), TikTok Pixel.
  • Shopify and Liquid theme development experience; comfort extending product, cart, and checkout experiences.
  • Experience with custom checkout platforms — Checkout Champ, ClickFunnels, or comparable — or clear evidence you can pick one up fast.
  • Practical fluency with AI coding tools, and the judgment to know their limits.
  • Real CRO instincts: you can look at two variants and tell us why one won, and what invalidates a test.
  • Willingness and ability to be in our Santa Ana office five days a week.

This Role Is NOT For You If

This role is not for you if you need a fully specified ticket before you can start, or if you want to be measured on lines of code rather than on revenue. It is not for you if you are a backend or application engineer looking to move into marketing sites — we need someone who has already done this work and can show us the pages. It is not for you if you are a recent graduate or have under four years of hands-on build experience; we have hired at that level before and it has not served either side well. It is not for you if you want remote or hybrid work — this is five days a week in Santa Ana, and out-of-state candidates will not be considered.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Checkout Champ or a comparable custom checkout platform
  • Server-side tracking / Meta Conversions API implementation
  • Webflow experience or exposure to visual page builders
  • Past DTC or eCommerce brand experience, in-house rather than agency
  • Formal exposure to A/B testing tools and CRO methodology
  • Experience with Figma and design handoff workflows

Benefits

What We Offer

  • Work in-office with a top-performing DTC team in Santa Ana, CA
  • Ownership of the full conversion surface across growing consumer brands
  • Hands-on exposure to real revenue-driving projects and real performance data
  • Opportunity to grow into lead and principal technical roles as the portfolio scales
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
