Job Summary:
Oxenham Group is a values-focused organization providing electrical transformers to commercial and industrial markets, recognized as one of America's fastest-growing companies, and they are seeking a Sr. BI Developer to join their team. This individual will serve as a technical lead for data and analytics, driving the design and development of the company's data warehouse, reporting layer, and core business metrics.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and ongoing improvement of BI and reporting infrastructure, including data warehouse and analytics platform
• Build and maintain scalable data models, pipelines, and reporting solutions that provide accurate and actionable insights
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into intuitive dashboards and data products
• Serve as the go-to resource for business intelligence, developing a deep understanding of operations and performance drivers
• Respond to internal requests for reporting, insights, and training on BI tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data pipelines, integrations, and reporting accuracy
• Modify and maintain data pipelines in response to API or system changes
• Implement best practices for data governance, metric definitions, and data quality
• Create systems that improve data pipeline observability, reliability, and change management
• Train internal users on reporting tools and proper data usage to drive adoption across the business
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or analytics development roles
• Strong experience building and maintaining data pipelines, data models, and reporting systems
• Proficiency with modern BI tools and data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Metabase, or similar)
• Experience working with SQL-based databases (MySQL, Postgres) and cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform
• Ability to work across systems and troubleshoot data integrations, APIs, and data flow issues
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on, fast-moving environment with a high degree of ownership
Preferred:
• Experience with tools and technologies such as Python, Docker, Terraform, or modern web stacks (NodeJS, Typescript, React) is a plus
