Job description

The Lede Company is seeking Interns to join our team in the Talent and Music division for the Fall 2026 school semester. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and writing skills and must be comfortable dealing with all levels of staff and clients. Previous PR/marketing internships is preferred. 

This is a paid internship fully on-site opportunity, and we ask that candidates are able to commit to 15 - 30 hours per week. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clipping and scanning for current clients
  • Keeping clippings library up to date; putting together reports
  • Passion and knowledge of the Talent and Music industry
  • Assisting with editor and influencer product gifting
  • Helping to maintain press contacts database
  • Assisting the team in research and ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Attending team and client meetings
  • Assisting on-site at events and activations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree candidate or recent college graduate that has an interest in public relations, communications, brands, new business and/or strategy
  • Solid proficiency using Microsoft Office suite and Google suite is essential
  • Ability to take initiative and must have the confidence to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be reliable with excellent organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen pulse on culture across beauty, wellness, fashion, consumer product goods and lifestyle
  • Knowledge of Cision and/or MuckRack would be an advantage
