Title: Repair Technician

Location: 10105 SENATE DRIVE, Lanham, MD - 20706

Interview: 45-minute onsite interview

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Work Schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Overtime: Yes, as needed based on workload

Must be a U.S. citizen

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of two-way radios

RF communications expertise

Understanding of RF and electronics theory

Proficiency in Windows and Google Suite applications

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to maintain accurate documentation

Experience in repair center or customer service

Job Description:

Radio depot work, radio repair, Upgrades, troubleshooting, programming, cleaning equipment, collecting documentation, serial numbers, model number and features. Knowledge of telecommunication test equipment, like, DVM, Service Monitors, Watt Meters. Windows Office experience, Mechanically inclined, Computer knowledge, Capable of following procedures, Motorola Radio knowledge helpful.

Experience

1 to 3 years of experience in a related field OR Associate’s Degree in EE/EET or equivalent experience

Must have understanding of RF and electronics theory

Facility handles two-way portable and mobile radios on conventional, trunking, and encrypted systems

Main Responsibilities:

Repair, upgrade, and program MSI two-way radios

Set up, adjust, and operate test equipment per procedure

Monitor equipment performance

Perform test runs and document radio/device performance

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using documented methods

Collect and report test data; validate results

Expected Contributions (First 90–120 Days):

Become fully trained and independently productive

Contribute to repair throughput and quality

Support documentation and compliance efforts

Preferred Qualifications:

Mechanically inclined

Experience with cell phone repair

Laptop repair experience
