Job Summary:

The SEO Manager will lead our search engine and AI search optimization strategy and execution. This individual will directly oversee a team of SEO content resources, collaborate closely with our web development team and SEO agency, and help to prioritize SEO + AIO (AI optimization) initiatives to maximize organic traffic and conversions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing successful SEO projects, galvanizing others to adhere to SEO best practices and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the web content team, field and Home Office teams to ensure SEO+AIOprojects are executed in a timely and correct manner.
  • Manage a team of SEO content writers ensuring high-quality and SEO-optimized content production.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO+AIO strategies aligned with business goals, including on-page and technical SEO, in collaboration with SEO agency and direct manager.
  • Advise PulteGroup field teams as a subject matter expert on SEO+AIO to steward best practices while leveraging field learnings for future enhancements.
  • Prioritize, scope and execute SEO+AIO projects using data-driven decision-making, ensuring deadlines and performance goals are met.
  • Oversee relationship with -Listing Tool executional team to ensure Google Business Listings are correct and up-to-date.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify additional business opportunities and guide/hone content creation.
  • Adapt strategies as needed in response to search engine algorithms, trends, and best practices.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key SEO+AIO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Profound, Brightedge, Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of SEO experience, including SEO research
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a team lead role

Required Licensing, Registration and/or Certifications

  • Google Analytics Certification preferred
  • Google Search Console Certification or other relevant Google based certifications a plus

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Proven ability to manage and optimize content for search engines and AI search with a data-driven mindset and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
  • The ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations, and run team meetings
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SEO and emerging AIO best practices
