Troon's Corporate office, located in Scottsdale, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for an Analytics & Integrations Developer! We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and advance their career within a rapidly growing organization.
The Analytics & Integrations Developer will support reporting, analytics, data integration, and business enablement across Troon's UKG Pro and UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) platforms. This role serves as a key technical resource within IT, responsible for developing reporting solutions, supporting enterprise integrations, improving data quality, and partnering with business stakeholders in Human Resources and Finance to enable informed decision-making.
The position will work closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Operations, and executive leadership to gather requirements, develop solutions, and communicate outcomes in a clear and professional manner. Success in this role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, professional maturity, and the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
This is a hands-on development and support role intended for junior to senior-level professionals who enjoy solving business problems through data, analytics, and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Analytics Development & Reporting
  • Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise HRIS reporting and analytics solutions across the UKG ecosystem.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using:
    • UKG People Analytics (Cognos BI)
    • UKG Pro WFM Data Views and Reports
    • UKG Workforce Intelligence Hub (Google Looker)
    • Related reporting and analytics platforms
  • Partner with business stakeholders in Human Resources and Finance to gather requirements, define reporting needs, and validate outcomes.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting data.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and recommend improvements to reporting processes and data quality.
  • Assist with training, knowledge transfer, and user adoption efforts for reporting and analytics tools.
  • Support reporting standardization and data governance initiatives across the organization.

Integration Development & Support
  • Develop, configure, test, document, and support integrations between UKG and other enterprise applications.
  • Support integrations utilizing:
    • UKG Pro APIs
    • UKG Pro WFM APIs
    • UKG Integration Tools
    • Integration Hub (iHub)
    • Data Import Tool
    • Boomi and similar middleware platforms
    • Web services and related technologies
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes to ensure reliable operation.
  • Work with internal and external partners to resolve integration issues and implement enhancements.
  • Contribute to integration standards, documentation, and best practices.
  • Ensure integration solutions align with established security, compliance, and data governance requirements.

Business Partnership & Solution Delivery
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, Operations, and other business teams to understand operational requirements and priorities.
  • Translate business requirements into effective reporting, analytics, and integration solutions.
  • Participate in system implementations, enhancements, testing activities, and production support efforts.
  • Prepare professional documentation, status updates, requirements summaries, testing results, and user-facing communications.
  • Present technical concepts and solution recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organization while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and customer service.

Data & Analytics Collaboration
  • Develop a strong understanding of UKG Pro and UKG Pro WFM data structures and reporting frameworks.
  • Partner with enterprise analytics teams to support broader data initiatives and reporting strategies.
  • Assist with integrating UKG data into enterprise reporting and analytics environments.
  • Support cross-platform reporting and data analysis initiatives involving solutions such as Microsoft Power BI and related platforms.
  • Participate in efforts to improve data accessibility, reporting consistency, and analytical capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • 4+ years of experience supporting HRIS, HCM, Workforce Management, analytics, reporting, integrations, or enterprise business applications.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, validating, or supporting reports, dashboards, analytics, or business intelligence solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Workforce Management, Talent Acquisition, or related business processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, document processes, and translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, honoring commitments, proactively identifying risks, and delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
  • Professional presence and the ability to interact confidently with business stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and discretion when handling highly confidential information, including payroll, compensation, personal identifiable information (PII), and other sensitive employee data.
  • Commitment to data privacy, security, compliance, and governance best practices.

Preferred:
  • Experience with UKG Pro and/or UKG Pro Workforce Management platforms.
  • Experience with UKG People Analytics (Cognos BI).
  • Experience with UKG Pro WFM reporting, Data Views, and workforce analytics.
  • Experience with Google Looker, Power BI, Cognos BI, or other enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Experience with API-based integrations and integration troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with UKG integration tools, Boomi, middleware platforms, or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance, reporting security, and access management concepts.
  • Experience participating in HRIS, payroll, benefits, workforce management, or enterprise application projects.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools.
  • Experience supporting multi-location or multi-state heavy retail/hospitality organizations

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with team members, business stakeholders, and external partners.
