Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Material Logistics Coordinator to join a fast-growing team in the underground construction space. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll play a key part in keeping critical projects running smoothly. Doing everything from coordinating large-scale material orders (including fiber) to ensuring purchase orders and budgets stay on track. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves staying organized, and isn’t afraid to ask questions. Must-Haves:

• 2–5 years of experience in project coordination or logistics

• Construction industry background (underground preferred, open to above-ground)

• Highly organized with strong multitasking skills

• Strong communicator (phone, email, and cross-functional collaboration)

• Detail-oriented with experience reviewing quotes, budgets, or financials

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365

• Problem-solving mindset with ability to adapt in real-time

• Comfortable working in a hybrid role (admin-heavy with some warehouse exposure)

• Experience working with Oracle Fusion or other purchasing/ERP system experience

Plusses:

• Finance/accounting exposure (budgets, cost tracking, POs)

• Power/telecom experience (fiber knowledge is a plus)

• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one

Day-to-Day:

• Coordinate and track material orders for large-scale construction projects

• Manage purchase orders and financial documentation within internal systems

• Answer inbound calls and handle day-to-day requests/issues

• Assist with warehouse coordination (inventory, shipments, materials flow)

• Communicate across teams and time zones to ensure project efficiency

• Identify issues quickly and proactively work toward solutions
