Our team works tirelessly to build a respected, results-oriented brand. We are headquartered in Chesapeake, VA with employees located near each of the Navy Fleet Centers within the continental United States (San Diego, Jacksonville, Seattle, New England, Norfolk) as well as Hawaii and Japan. Position Description: MI Technical Solutions, Inc. is seeking a UI/UX Developer to join its team. In this role, the UI/UX Developer is responsible for the design and creation of user-facing interfaces and experiences. Responsibilities: * Analyze user requirements and behavior to design user-friendly interfaces.
* Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide the design process.
* Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
* Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites or applications function and look.
* Work closely with software engineers and product managers to implement designs.
* Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve design.
* Stay up to date with design application changes and industry developments.
* Ensure all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings. * Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design.
Requirements: * Must have and be able to maintain DoW Security Clearance
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or related field
* 3+years' experience in user-facing design and development
* Experience working with React.js, CSS, and Power Platform interfaces
* Ability to work independently and autonomously
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Experience using UI wireframe/mockup tools such as Figma and Balsamiq
