👥 Team: Marketing

🧭 Reports to: VP of Marketing, Policy & Regulatory

💼 Type: Full-time (exempt)

📌 Job details

Dandelion Energy is seeking a driven, strategic Field Marketer to serve as our on-the-ground expert and brand ambassador in on the East Coast, focused on supporting our largest homebuilder partners.

This mid-level role blends relationship building, sales enablement, localized marketing strategy, and hands-on event execution. You will work directly with builder sales teams to ensure homes equipped with Dandelion geothermal systems are successfully marketed and sold to homebuyers.

You’ll also play a key role in educating and exciting the broader ecosystem—including homebuyers, realtors, and local partners—through events, trainings, and community engagement that help make geothermal the industry standard for new home construction.

This role is full-time with extensive travel (50%+) across Colorado. While the position offers flexibility, it is not a traditional 9–5 role and will include occasional evenings and weekends to support events and builder activities.

🛠️ Responsibilities

Builder Relationship Management & Sales Enablement

  • Build deep, trusted relationships with homebuilder sales teams.

  • Ensure builder teams have the training, resources, and collateral needed to confidently educate homebuyers about geothermal systems.

  • Develop localized strategies and tools to help builders successfully market geothermal homes.

Field Marketing & Event Activation

  • Represent Dandelion at builder events, realtor gatherings, and homebuyer education events.

  • Plan and execute local activations that generate awareness, excitement, and demand for geothermal-powered homes.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Dandelion within builder communities and local housing ecosystems.

Strategy & Collateral Development

  • Support field marketing strategy for the new-construction vertical across the Eastern U.S.

  • Create, localize, and manage execution of brochures, point-of-sale materials, signage, digital assets, and presentations tailored to builders and homebuyers.

Market Feedback & Intelligence

  • Serve as the “voice of the homebuyer” and builder partner, gathering real-world insights from the field.

  • Capture feedback from builder teams, homebuyers, and partners to inform marketing strategy, messaging, and product development.

  • Provide actionable insights to Dandelion’s Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to improve go-to-market effectiveness.

Travel up to 50%+ across Colorado/midwest to work with builder partners and support events.

🎯 We’re looking for:
  • Energized by being customer-facing and building strong relationships.

  • A confident presenter who can effectively engage builders, realtors, and homebuyers.

  • Curious about the market and motivated to gather on-the-ground insights that shape strategy.

  • Highly self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable figuring things out as you go.

  • Flexible and excited by a role that includes travel and occasional evening or weekend events.

  • Passionate about clean energy, sustainability, or climate solutions (professional experience in these areas is a plus).

✅ Must-haves
  • 3–5 years of experience in field marketing, channel marketing, sales enablement, events marketing, or builder marketing.

  • 2+ years experience building measurable marketing programs that drive awareness and sales outcomes.

  • Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills.

  • Proven relationship-building ability with external partners (B2B2C a bonus).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to travel extensively (50%+).

  • Bachelor’s degree

🌟 Bonus points for:
  • 2+ years experience in home construction, real estate, working with homebuilders, and/or high-value B2C tech.

  • 1+ years experience driving demand for a new or niche category.

  • Field marketing in a builder or developer ecosystem.

  • Experience in clean energy, sustainability and/or climate solutions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar discipline
