Area Description

The GFiber Inventory Acquisition team is responsible for business-to-business partnerships with the Real Estate industry that secure the rights for GFiber to install our infrastructure and access potential customers (including multifamily/apartment/condo, multi-tenant/commercial/office, and single family/HOA/private road entities).

Role Description

In this role, you will prospect with assigned partners and/or specific geographies. Your success will be defined by your ability to help increase the number of households that have the ability to order GFiber services through outside field sales activities.

In this role, you'll:
  • Own relationships and drive inventory growth with GFiber partners who possess small or medium portfolios of properties.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of sales and relationship development to complete complex challenges with sophisticated partners (e.g. uses negotiation skills to determine proper business requirements in order to gain mutual acceptance for right of entry agreements).
  • Leverage CRM data to develop sales strategies and make business recommendations (e.g. allocate resources more effectively).
  • Provide updates to the Metro Lead and Head of Sales on quarterly sales goals and targets..
  • Maintain a robust funnel built upon a variety of sales activities (e.g. cold calling, prospecting, mailers, warm follow-ups, and networking).
  • Use written and verbal communication with internal and external partners to accurately explain and position GFiber’s value.
  • Contribute to the overall Sales team culture and GFiber community, by sharing best practices and suggestions to shape our Sales strategy.
At a minimum we'd like you to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of sales experience working with partners.
  • Experience using a CRM platform.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle check that meets company standards.
It's preferred if you have:
  • Sales and partnership trainings/certifications.
  • Experience working with the Internet Service Provider (ISP) industry.
  • Experience with financial models, and the ability to analyze/evaluate opportunities from those models.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database for reporting, forecasting, and ongoing communication.
  • Experience using written and verbal communication to persuade and explain concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.

This role offers a competitive on-target earnings (OTE) of $133,336 annually ($80,000 base + uncapped sales bonus) + benefits.
