Role Description:
The Senior Direct Sales Traveling Representative for GFiber is responsible for increasing the number of active paid residential customers within a market. In this role, the traveling rep is responsible for increasing customer residential subscriptions through door-to-door sales. This role reports to the Direct Sales Performance and Development Lead on the Central Team. GFiber brings Fiber To The Home internet. These units are primarily residential homes, but may include multiple dwelling units (MDUs). A key to this role will be traveling 2 to 3 times per month to support other markets within GFiber's footprint. When not visiting other markets, the traveling rep will sell within the UT / ID Market (West Region). During market visits, the traveling rep will assist in delivering classroom style trainings, practice, and roleplay sessions with other managers and sales reps. In addition, the traveling rep will assist with on-the-door training by having other reps shadow them while knocking on doors.
In this role, you'll:
  • Prospect residential customers by promoting GFiber's internet services.
  • Teach, train, coach, and model high level sales performance to various market teams and to have individual sales representatives shadow while selling.
  • Build a lead pipeline through door-to-door interactions and conduct in-person, phone and/or email follow-up.
  • Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool with relevant customer information, conversion status and notes.
  • Partner with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Communicate the GFiber value proposition to customers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of GFiber's network and technical deployment.
  • Assist various market managers in mentoring and training team members, while fostering teamwork and community.

At a minimum, we'd like you to have:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience in outside sales.
  • Ability to travel 8-12 days per month (typically 2-3 trips) and maintain a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to exert yourself physically over extended periods of time, including frequent walking and climbing stairs.
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation during the workday.
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check that meets company standards.

It's preferred if you have:
  • 2 years of experience with sales, strategic account management, or customer service.
  • 1 year of experience mentoring and training team members in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience in Salesforce or other industry lead management software tools, managing long-term relationships, and meeting customer care success metrics.
  • Proven track record of strong work ethic, ability to navigate ambiguity, solid communication skills, strong decision making and good judgment.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish.

This role offers a competitive on-target earnings (OTE) of $73,334 annually ($36,667 base + uncapped sales bonus) + benefits. Your compensation includes a base salary plus an uncapped commission structure. Those who are on-target for 6 months are recommended for promotion that includes a higher base salary and related OTE.
